footage.center is operated by Adam Pang. The site has no accounts, no forms, no checkout, and no uploads. The personal station prototype runs entirely in your browser with sample episodes. footage.center itself stores nothing you do on the station; the only data collected is the analytics described below.
Analytics: PostHog
footage.center uses PostHog (US cloud) for anonymous product analytics. The PostHog script records page views and page leaves, Core Web Vitals performance measurements, heatmap data about where on a page people click and scroll, and dead click detection (clicks that produce no visible change). Autocapture, session replay, and surveys are turned off in the site code. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in a first-party cookie or local storage to recognize repeat visits, and no names or email addresses are attached to it.
Hosting: Vercel
footage.center is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL to serve the site and keep it secure. Fonts are served from footage.center itself, not loaded from Google.
